Turns out you can arrest your way out of a crime problem. Troop NOLA has been putting a serious dent in it. No license plate, dark tint, etc... is all the probable cause they need to pull these guys over and low and behold they have warrants.

The head of Troop NOLA, Hyatt, has specifically said they do not target expired plates or misdemeanor infractions. They are taking a data driven approach to where and how they target. Looking for illegal firearms and stolen vehicles/property.
The new Grandma Chief was a big supporter of the idea of combining federal, state, and local to work as one. Hence why Cantrell actually wanted LSP with an established Troop there.

Yeah, well you are short sighted and looking to shite on any improvement. 58% drop and 69% drop for those two areas when applied across 3 years.
Like I said, year over year isn't that impressive since last year was pretty damn good.

So you don't believe the old stats either?
So you are saying that you could believe the crime has improved even more because the old stats were artificially low and now these stats are telling the truth?
Or you only doubt good stats?
JP is on track to end their year with the lowest murders in 60 years as well. Do you think they are in cahoots? Do you think it is Landry getting everyone to fudge the numbers?

You’ll never convince some people that progress is being made. Hating on New Orleans and Baton Rouge (and to a slightly lesser extent, LA in general) is some of these people’s whole personality.

Let me see if I can find his name again. When you start connecting the dots there were a lot of people connected to him that ended up dead. Think a baby momma ended up shot on the side of the road, maybe the kid too.

Think it was Johnell Hampton and the guy who killed him was Quinn. Tyree Quinn was tracked by his ankle monitor to have been at the scene.
