There's no doubt that the Texas Bowl would love to have the Tigers every year. The feeling is not mutual for LSU.

We've played in the "Texas Bowl" 4 times in the last 10 years.
Let's hope this is the last time for the next 10 years.
This is not even a semi prestigious bowl to be proud of going to.
It's an embarrassment for a program with LSU's standards.

With the SEC moving to 9 games, it’s seeming like every non conference game date is up for review (especially the FCS games).

I really don't know who they put for the last game of the season. Every conference opponent plays a rivalry game that weekend but maybe they end the Arkansas/Missouri matchup and put us back with the Hogs?
