Just a reminder Louisiana has met ALL Phase 1 requirements to reopen

Why aren't we opening? We have been trending down on new cases for 20 days now.
And we are perfectly able to treat all of our patients without crisis care.
Why has the state not opened up for phase 1?

Because the people that lead this state need another state to take the lead.
Every step they made closing was based on somewhere else. They do not have a real plan. They will not be the first to do anything.

Every single hotel and fishing camp on Toledo can only let essential workers stay, they are all empty, why would a nurse stay at Cypress Bend or the Zwolle inn?

The Federal government put the guidelines to opening the economy back up. The governors are supposed to be following these guidelines, but some seem to push them to the side.

Easy:
Because the state is getting Federal dollars to prop it up and without this no way JBE would be able to go to legislative session with a budget that possibly could balance the budget. His failed policies of governing were about to come to roost this session but NOW, he is getting a pass.

So if that is the case, and I honestly don't believe that to be true, it is on the State for not being prepared after over a month of a shutdown. But JBE will continue to belittle the community about not complying.

We actually are in the process, and appear to be on track for the expiration of many restrictions on May 1, which has been the schedule for a couple weeks. Nobody likes this situation but so far it has been logical.
