100% true

JBE was ahead of most when in came to shutting down. Trumps little phasing thing is a general guideline. States are responsible for opening up. They are responsible if shite goes bad.

So you believe the state has a robust testing program in place for at-risk healthcare workers. An opinion based on what, exactly?

I suspect JBE wants to keep a state of emergency and get a chance at more Federal funding to cover up the massive issue of state revenues pegged to the price of oil.

I'd love to see one governor come on tv and say they're opening their state all the way, frick all this phasing shite.

Of course that would never happen because no politician is going to put themselves out there like that.

They are guidelines. It’s not a strict set of clearly definable goals that automatically trigger opening things up. If you expect things to significantly change before May 1, you will likely be disappointed. And even then, the significance of the changes may not be very tangible due to policy and also due to public behavior.

I don't even understand why people in GA are freaking out like 100s of thousands will die if they re open. They have like 800 deaths out of 10 million people. That's .00008%, honestly they should be open now.

Opening date is all base on if JBE can make the federal reimbursement numbers work.

Seems stupid that they can't be in phase 1 with restaurants and having the same capacity limitations. A lot less chance of germs being spread in a bar.

Bars are Phase 2 but gyms are Phase 1. Before the China Coof, gyms were already germ factories. Maybe staph infections chase away the 'rona?

I don't know if we have robust testing for healthcare, but we've shut down multiple testing sites. So I think it's a good assumption that it's not in as high demand, which leads me to think they should have plenty available.

And remember, this isn't all healthcare workers across the state that would need it. They aren't all working and not all hospitals are in higher risk areas.

Yeah, this is strange as well.

I will take it though. I can't wait to get back to my gym.

You all are on board with stopping immigration and shutting borders. But it hasn't occurred to any of you that the neighboring states are behind Louisiana in topping the curve. Perhaps the virus has little to do with your desire to close borders?

To some the definition of a liberal is anyone who isn't a far-right socialist.

If you followed any of the stay at home, social distancing or sanitize your hand requirements, your a liberal and in need of need some protesters with their shined up guns and ARs.

That percentage is so low because of the stay at home order. Some on here just don’t get it.

With all the gnashing of teeth about GA, FL, and SC opening things I didn’t even know CO was.

That's because the media lies and tells half-truths. They sold their soul for ratings. Once ratings drove everything and the nightly news was no longer seen as a money losing public service, but rather as a revenue generator, they quit bringing you news and started bringing you sensationalism. Once the core tenet of objectivity was shite on and actively rejected, glamming up a story so it'll sell more news became acceptable. From there, it was a short trip to the baldly biased and agenda driven bullshite that corporations like CNN and Fox spew.

Without the news functioning as the fourth estate and challenging ALL government and politicians equally to bring useful information to the people, the foundations of a republic weaken and it cannot survive.
