So a bunch of “select” meat?

You can produce grass feed/finished beef to grade prime, the management of the cattle is different.

Yeah, not usually straight Angus providing those prime cuts on grass, though.

Grass beef is fine. Some people prefer it and will pay more for it. It costs a hell of a lot more than grain finished beef, pound per pound and grade on grade.

In a economy where more and more consumers are getting priced out of beef, pushing grass fed beef is like the automakers only making $60,000+ trucks. Either you have enough money to buy it, or you buy something else that is way cheaper.

I don’t believe that star for a second. The Democrats are simply setting up the future justification for forcing the beef industry to shut down

Absolutely. I went carnivore a couple months ago and eat steak everyday. Feel much better.

I eat a ribeye every day. Lots of animal fat in my diet and almost no carbs. Lost a lot of weight and my blood work is excellent. Arteries looking good too at age 52.

The health care "experts" are dumbasses.

Humans have always eaten animal meat/fat. We are designed for it. We are not designed for carbs. We are not designed for processed foods and seed oils. The food industry is killing Americans.

Use spices not salt and sugar

Harland Sanders made chicken at our house now and again, it was delicious and you to taste different flavors. Now they never say they use 11 herbs and spices and would not surprise me if it was just 3 or less and 2 of them were salt and sugar.

You need some salt and some natural sugar is OK (honey, sorghum, and such) but if you read the labels and you see added sugars, put it back.

Also lots of cheap filler and not real lean meats.

This study is such horseshite. Just laying the groundwork to say, "Well, only 12% of the population eats so much beef so getting rid of it wont effect the majority, yall!"
yep. This "study" smell like bovine flatulence.

Not every cow is angus however. We run smaller frame herefords and are considering south polls. The steaks aren’t bigger, but our profit margin sure is from the less feed and less diesel for less hay needed over the winter. Smaller cows means more cows, more cows means more calves, more calves means more total $$$ for us than fewer, larger calves that may bring more, but their inputs are extremely high.

Just 12% of Americans

No chance, the McDonalds drive through is a slice of American culture every day.

And this heavy consumption of beef has significant health impacts on those Americans who are eating half of our steaks, meatballs, weiners and hamburgers.
Also not true, its what people eat with their meats.

Pretty sure us fellas that eat red meat once a day are in better shape than the vegans eating berries and nuts

There’s nothing wrong with salt.
