Latest news articles make sure to note that the shooting took place in a parking lot next door to the bar. Can’t let them shut down the “social club” on Juneteenth. Think of all the ribs and chicken and turkey legs that would be wasted. Not to mention all of the rhymes.

I think it was Danvers also.... oh how the burger/salad bar has changed. We used to love driving there from the "burbs" as high schoolers. It's sad that if my baby boy was there now, dad would be pissed.

So predictable. Robert E. Lee was correct when he pointed out that slavery was good for the black race. Until such time that they could be properly christianized, disciplined and spiritually and morally fortified, Lee believed they were better off as slaves and certainly better off than on their home continent. He felt is was up to divine providence to determine the time and fate of their emancipation, if at all. So while we are taking down statues of Lee and glorifying black "culture", let'e let Lee's observation sink in.
