re: Where are the best places to live in the USA?
Posted by jimmyb1234 on 1/7/22 at 11:09 am to SixthAndBarone
Baton Ruin, is by any objective measure a complete dumpster fire. No culture, just a never-ending sprawled out waste-land of strip malls and soulless office space. Trash and litter all over the place. Crooked politicians. Rage inducing traffic. Gang bangers and feral animals wandering the streets. Toxic chemical plants spewing carcinogens into the air. Restaurants serving mostly fried seafood. And a mayor and police chief who hate you, your families, and are holding the city hostage (just like what happened in Jackson, MS.).
But for LSU the city really has no reason to exist and should be flushed down the toilet.
Baton Ruin will go the way of Gary, Indiana. Louisiana overall is just a pitiful, sad state, whose bountiful resources have been squandered by venal crooks and maladjusted trash. Unashamed corruption is how the rest of the country sees you.
Maybe St. George can save the region, but I doubt the PTB are going to let that happen.
There are so many better places to relocate. Just grab a map and throw a dart. Anywhere USA is so much better than Baton Ruin.

The Episcopal Church is trash. Overrun with woke progressives. It's a hornets nest of homosexual deviants. And they are rank snobs on top of it all. Take away their country club and they'd have nothing left.

John Lennon was a narcissistic anti-social sociopath. Just an all around waste of oxygen. I'm agnostic on the other Beatles, although I do enjoy George Harrison's solo work.
re: Biden appointing Mitch Landrieu an attempt to raise Landrieu's profile...
Posted by jimmyb1234 on 11/15/21 at 10:15 am to Original Bayou Boy
Isn't Mitch the one who spearheaded the boondoggled airport? From what I remember, he presented a funding budget which was overrun by billions, and a project which was completed years late. Every contractor and politician, bureaucrat, and planner received millions in kickbacks and Landrieu, himself is alleged to have diverted millions of funding Into offshore accounts under the control of an LLC, of which he was a part.
This man, not to mention his entire family, is a crook. He even has that sleazy, unctuous look about him, like a slippery, oily mob boss. A greaser. This is exactly the kind of appointment I would expect from the Biden administration. There will be mismanagement and graft under Landrieu watch and he will continue to "fail upwards".

I can't stand it when they blame this on covid and say it's "expected" and "happening everywhere else". That's BS. Here in Florida crime, and homicides in particular, are down. We pay our police. And DeSantis has extended a generous offer to disaffected officers from other states. Broome needs to stop making excuses and look in the mirror, repent, then jump off a bridge.
re: Florida offers cops $5,000 in cash if they relocate there; no vaccine mandates

"Florida Man" only exists because of the state's Sunshine Law's, which were passed in 1991. They guarantees free public access to Florida's government documents and proceedings, minus some exemptions. Among the allowed documents are police arrest records. Few, if any other states have this level of transparency. I guarantee you if Louisiana had a similar set of laws, you'd see some batshit crazy stuff.
Regarding DeSantis' offer, I like it.

I wonder if Alec Baldwin's gun was loaded by a malicious union crew striker

It's consistent with the left's agenda and further propagates the narrative that guns are bad.
re: For first time ever, 1% own more wealth than entire middle class
Posted by jimmyb1234 on 10/19/21 at 9:10 am to AubieinNC2009
The very rich never pay taxes anyway. They shuffle their money around and use foundations as tax shelters. It's mostly the middle class that pays taxes.
re: Coach O: The Ultimate BAW
Posted by jimmyb1234 on 10/18/21 at 6:08 pm to Hoodie
I heard on another board, that Coach O was fired, in part, because he hit on the pregnant wife of a high ranking LSU administrator. I call BS on that, but even if true, it's pretty funny, since from what I was told this particular administrator is a soy boy.
That he was galavanting around and skirt chasing, does not seem like a good reason to fire a coach who 21 months previous had won the national championship. That he wouldn't cower before the woke mob, and exhibited a cocky attitude seems like good qualities to me.
While, I understand that he may have peaked in 2019 due to a confluence of unique circumstances involving his assistant coaches and Joe Burrow, I would like to have seen him have another season to prove his mettle. Either way, I'll miss the guy.

These sorts of foundations are absolutely about money laundering. With the caveat that it's legal. That's the problem. Gates has made an order of magnitude more money with his foundation than he ever did with Microsoft.
And to bring this a little closer to home, The Baton Rouge Area Foundation is nothing more than a sophisticated tax shelter used by the city's elite to park their money. Very little value, if any, is returned to the community. You can think of the Gate's foundation in the same way, except that it is larger and has global consequences.
The sooner this whole "philanthropic industrial complex" is exposed for the con it is, the better off we will all be.
And I have no doubt that Gates is a pedophile, he shares all the characteristics -- he's narcissistic, sociopathic, controlling and evil.

re: How would you rate Tate Reeves (MS)
Posted by jimmyb1234 on 9/21/21 at 12:37 pm to BayBengal9
Stating that the death rate in Mississippi is 2nd behind Peru is grossly misleading. One thing that is abundantly clear to any casual observer is that Mississippians are morbidly obese. Their obesity rates are among the highest in the country. Fat people tend to have co-morbidities like type II diabetes. And they tend to die at higher rates once infected with Covid. No surprise there. However, all things being equal, there is not much of a difference in death rates between healthy Mississippians and healthy folks from other states. So let's deal with the elephant in the room and acknowledge that poor black people with a poor diet, who refuse the be vaxxed, are skewing the results. Healthy, hardy people, no matter which state they reside in, have very little to worry about.
re: False flag coming this weekend
Posted by jimmyb1234 on 9/20/21 at 11:03 am to 00 Tech Grad
False Flag power grabs are the de facto playbooks of crooked authoritarian regimes. The US is no different. It's the easiest way to corral the sheeple into a slaughterhouse. The elites hate us, they want us properly confined, rendered pliable and tractable, so we can be babysat, spoon-fed, and kept in diapers. All while the elite advance their agenda for dominance, with the inevitable fusion of technology to aid and abet their soulless, rapacious, and psychopathic march to godhood.
They are all reptilian. They feed on the blood of children, attend satanic rituals, and have the ability to shapeshift.
The elites will initiate the False Flag this week and it may possibly involve a Tsunami, triggered by the volcanic activity on the islands off the coast of Africa. With a tectonic break, this tsunami should have the power to wipe out the east coast of Florida. From what my sources say, the elites are planning to use the disaster to further advance the "Great Reset" and initiate draconian measures to "help combat anthropogenic climate change".
It's coming patriots. We all need to be prepared to defend ourselves from these diabolical mechanizations.

Posted by jimmyb1234 on 9/9/21 at 4:29 pm to UndercoverBryologist
Yes, the gay community in San Francisco at the time was about as depraved and degenerate in their behavior as anyone could get. They abused drugs and sodomized each other with reckless abandon within the bath houses. Really gross stuff. They accelerated the pandemic and were never really held accountable. If it had just stayed within their community, the rest of the country wouldn't have cared much. Sadly they spread it to innocent hemophiliacs and heteronormative people.
re: New Orleans investment opportunities
Posted by jimmyb1234 on 8/31/21 at 2:58 pm to remax_joe
I would view this catastrophe as an excellent investment opportunity. Likely lot's of folks are packing it up and going to greener pastures in the short-term. But what this hurricane has shown in the long-term is that the levee system and pumps held up and operated as intended. I believe once New Orleans builds back a more robust electrical grid, the city will be more-or-less weather proofed. So yeah, if I'm a realtor and have investors backing me, now would be a good time to start planning on swooping in and buying the inevitable distressed properties.
re: I Don't See America Lasting Much Longer
Posted by jimmyb1234 on 8/13/21 at 5:07 pm to AUstar
The US has become a shark infested feeding frenzy for fat kleptocrats and oligarchs who are gaming the system from the relative safety of their private island compounds. From the ever increasing valuations for worthless business enterprises (pretty much anything Elon Musk sponsors) to the Ponzi-scheme like expansion of private equity, a relative few are benefiting bigly.
And who are the ones underwriting this drunken orgy? It's white middle America, they are the one's forced to pay taxes, to submit to a woke CRT culture, to send their kids to dysfunctional public schools and to encourage their children to become trannys. All while rich elites project scorn and contempt for the Bubba class.
This won't end without a complete overthrow of our current political and economic structures. And I'm afraid this won't be accomplished without a profound amount of bloodshed.

Holy smokes I always just assumed he was strait-up gay.

Joking aside, this is just more of the Left's unrelenting desire to push mental health problems on our youth. There is no such thing as being BI. One is either strait or gay and if you are gay, it's almost always because of a mental disorder.
