Can I get a list of restaurants willingly participating in this so I can avoid them in the future? I don't like to fund racism.

Why is it racist to want to support people that look like you?

To me a better question is how do we know the race of the owner?

It did remind me of some places I’ve been wanting to try.

Empire Wingz, Bullfish (I went when it was old owners and totally different menu), and DC Eats have all been on my list a while now.

Y'all will think this is a joke, but where is the best hot chicken?

I will go if it is south of Florida Blvd. in an area of town not named Gardere.

Damn. I’m looking at their photos on Yelp. That’s my kind of pizza.

Isn't Baton Rouge majority black?

Seems odd for the City to go out of its way to promote the ethnic majority owned businesses only.

Worth the ride. Call it in about 30 mins ahead of time and get it before dark.

The majority of our restaurant owners are most certainly not black. Look at the list of participating restaurants. Most of them are places a lot of people haven’t even heard of.

My in-laws used to order poboys from them. They were good whenever we had them.
