Even disappointed with Rogan bowing down to placement of warnings on "controversial" topics on Spotify.

Oh the horror

The thing is Jon knew what he was doing when hosting the Daily Show. He knew where the line was and what not to cross. But Jon is like a Jedi whose pupils all turned into Sith. I think even to this day that Jon has good intentions, but I do not believe that about the rest of his underlings. They'll do or say literally anything their corporate overlords tell them to for the cash.

No, he wanted to play both sides of the character. He wanted to spew a bunch of baseless opinion that he knew his audience would take as fact then call it a comedy show when called out for his blatant partisan lies. He's got no leg to stand on here.

This is really a bunch of talk for nothing. Spotify is not an American owned company and does not give a frick. They have said publicly they support Rogan.

I remember a time when I didn't agree with Jon Stewart's views. But the last few times I've heard him, he's talked sensible. I haven't changed, I believe he's leaning more right. More sensible.

I was listening to some older Lil Wayne songs on Spotify the other day, and was reminded of the lyric in which he said 'you hommo ****s getting AIDS in the arse". I thought to myself for a second... damn, it's crazy that all of these other artist on Spotify support such inflammatory and demeaning lyrics. I continued to listen though because old Lil Wayne is my jam.

He hasn't changed either, it's just you and Jon are sane and everyone in the media and government have lost their fricking minds. When you hear a semblance of sanity, you begin to doubt yourself.

I lean left more the most folks on here but I also listen to Joe Rogan from time to time. And honestly, the controversy on this is so overblown. Rogan is a big meathead for sure but he engages with all of his guest, no matter their stance. His podcast is just filled with folks that speak to whatever topic he finds interesting in that moment. Listening to his podcast does not mean you have to agree with what is said. All that happens is that you get a look at someone else's perspective.

Jon Stewart could run for President, and he could win.

In my heart of hearts, I believe this.

The only issue is that he would never be that stupid to make a run.

IMO from the outside, it looked voluntary to me. I think he burned himself out. He worked hard for a long time. There's only so much you can do for so long.

he isn’t wrong there are some real nut jobs on YouTube and other platforms that spread some crazy misinformation that can be harmful

Define harmful. Are adults incapable of making adult decisions?

If your argument is "think of the children!", then YouTube has a children only version called YouTube Kids.

Perhaps, just perhaps, adults should be able to take in whatever entertainment/information they find interesting, and judge for themselves the merits.

I used to seriously dislike Jon Stewart.

His speech to the Senate, though, about rights and benefits for 9/11 first responders ... that was powerful. He earned a ton of respect from me on that day.

He was also one of the better guests on Peyton and Eli MNF this past season :)

Jimmy Dore's recent videos have made a lot of sense as well.

As Kevin Costner playing Jim Garrison in JFK said, "We're through the looking glass, people."

Yeah, Dore has been all over Fauci. He seems to be the only person on the Left who realizes who Fauci is, what he has done, and despises him with all his being. Some like Maher, Kulinski, and Krystal Ball are coming around on who Fauci actually is, but they’re not quite there yet. Fauci will go down in history as probably the most loathed American since Benedict Arnold.

Than go after Fauchi and Walensky. They have been consistently wrong and have spread outright lies since this has started.

I would like to know Jon’s opinion on Fauci since he knows the obvious that it came from the lab. I do think if Jon was still on the Daily Show that he’d go after Fauci pretty hard.

Dore has been on point and relentless. He needs to dump Metzger though, he adds nothing. Check out his interview on Carlson. Mature, reasoned civil disagreements.

/r/Conservative is a great place to get conservative conversation without the insane loons TD poli board attracts. For the most part, no people yelling "VACCINE HAS 5G!"

It seems mostly over there that the vaccines cause heart inflamation and in some cases triggers autoimmune diseases.

So where is the misinformation there?

Go ahead and link to all the 5g...
