We have the entire genetic sequence of covid 19, it is an identical protein

One death in 6.8 million doses of J&J is your point being proven? Wow, that’s a micro size point. Meanwhile hundreds of thousands have died of Covid and you probably don’t think that’s really a pandemic.

I love rejoicing from some on here that think J&J vaccine has been proven dangerous. By the end of the week J&J shots will be going into arms again if not sooner.

Yeah, kinda like locking down the entire world for .2 percent COVID death rate.

Some of these dumb fricks don’t understand what a pause is.

These vaccines are completely safe, and if you don’t believe that, you’re a backwoods simp.
Pretty much.
Which is why they’ve halted the J&J vaccine.

Do the instructions wear off? Does the spike protein go away?
Yes. The instructions are mRNA. They degrade in the cell eventually. I just explained that.
Yes. White blood cells recognize itC attack it, and eventually destroy it. It’s why people feel like shite after their doses, your immune system takes a frick ton of energy.

ibuprofen has a 1000% higher risk of blood clots than the JNJ vaccine

This actually makes sense. You have about 65-80% immunity after the first dose. I don’t see that as prolonging anything.

It is the UK Strategy, and it has worked really well in that country.

You're forgetting a minor detail though

There’s a better chance of someone dying from eating peanuts that has an unknown allergy than the J&J vaccine. Maybe your dumb arse should quit buying peanut products at the grocery store too.

It just makes my morning to watch the same people that love to use statistics to argue how minor COVID is to the average person, completely ignore those same statistics for the vaccine.
I see where you are coming from here, but I don't think the comparison is relevant.
For the virus, it's a risk everyone has already lived with for over a year. Additionally, it's a risk that ostensibly can be mitigated by health choices. In this situation, I like my chances by making my own decisions.
For the vaccine, it's a risk that you have zero control over and the effects (often under-reported) are seemingly random.
For those opposed to the vaccine, the "Do Nothing" scenario seems the safest. If you aren't scared of the virus you've already lived with for over a year and take control of your health, even a tiny risk in a vaccine seems excessive.

I doubt they are random at all
much like COVID, there will be a pattern

I'm not scared of COVID and I'm in fantastic health.
I'm also not scared of vaccines. I get the flu shot every year. I like myself and my family not getting sick. It has nothing to do with being scared.
Never in the history of vaccines have people associated getting vaccinated with "being scared" of a virus.

You’ve got to love the people who feel vindicated this morning. They’ve been warning about these “rushed” vaccines for months and now they think they’ve been vindicated. Never mind the fact the JNJ vaccine is built on one of the oldest vaccine platforms out there. Meanwhile, the “new” vaccines on mRNA platforms are substantially more effective and have shown to be quite safe.
I just want to say that I dont feel vindicated nor do I think I am right.....but this is one of the reasons I am in a wait and see mode before I decide if/when or which vaccine I will get. I dont feel like I have to rush out and get the vaccine right now...I dont see the point being that I'm not in a high risk category.

Six people out of millions of doses? This shouldn't even be a story, much less having its use paused. Stupid. And from the looks of this thread, many are buying into the vaccine fear porn. Don't you see that you're being manipulated? This whole thing is the best shot the left has ever had to drive us to socialism, and they are going to drive it as long as they can. Here's the latest iteration.
