Nor has it ever been exposed to next year's seasonal flu strain or the next brand of common cold.

that was all fine until they went full authoritarian. they've crossed the Rubicon

these are public officials, not kings. their actions should be judged on the information used to justify those actions

It's still crazy as the sale of alcohol has not been outlawed.

The Livingston Sheriff loves banning alcohol sales.

He shouldn’t have said that. It’s insane. It will cripple this state and country.

But maybe that’s what he wants.

After viewing comments here on TD, I am convinced JBE is doing the right thing with all the state restrictions. As Ron White says, "You can't fix stupid." Louisiana is full of morons, retards, and stupid idiots, that without restrictions, would keep spreading this virus for years.

Re the China has it under control comment, there were videos of Chinese military using force to pull civilians out of their homes & placing them in tightly locked down facilities in severely affected cities. We are bitching about closing bars & restaurants.

i've heard they believe it's really a July/August end date. if that's true, i wonder how many of these "Trickle" extensions before people lose it

So is it highly contagious and rapidly moving through our communities?

Or is it moderately contagious and slowly progressing?

Because you can’t argue both points as you’re doing…

That is just impossible. 75% of the country will be unemployed by then.

This will last a Month, and then we will just have to embrace what an acceptable amount of deaths is to not destroy the economy completely.
