Joe Rogan slammed "fat professors" who defend unhealthy lifestyles in a Saturday episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience."

"F--- off fat professors, f--- off, you guys are unhealthy, it's not in any way good," Rogan said.

Rogan’s guest was fitness influencer Derek of the "More Plates, More Dates" YouTube channel, where the two appeared to reference a document from the University of British Columbia in Canada. The document defended the removal of nutritional information from menus because putting the number of calories next to an item can be "triggering" for some students.

"It can be triggering for those with disordered eating habits or eating disorders," the document to students read. "For those of us who have a rocky relationship with food, either in the past or present, it can be triggering when we are presented with caloric information, and it can affect our ability to repair our relationship with food. By stepping away from nutrition information, we can place a greater focus on the enjoyment of food and creating a satisfying experience."

Spotify reportedly pays podcasting giant Joe Rogan "at least" $200 million.

I hate that I live in this time. A bunch of soft, pansy arse people that are "triggered" by nutritional information need to seek mental health help.

This is indicative of one of the biggest issues in society at large. "Saying critical things about me hurts my feelings. And it takes a bit of effort for me to change the things I don't' like about myself. So let's vilify those who are critical of me rather than me change myself."

In the 90's there was blowback on the apparent popularity of emaciated, rail thin models. Which was understandable. That's not healthy lifestyle. But just because that wasn't right doesn't mean we should go full retard in the other direction. A woman weighing 220 lbs or a many weighing 300lbs (unless he's like 6'7 and an NFL lineman) isn't healthy. Forget "beauty". That has NOTHING to do with it.

The bottom line is obese people don't feel "beautiful". And like every human, they want to feel that way. So instead of making the lifestyle changes necessary to get to a weight in which they do feel good about themselves, they demand society to force YOU to consider a 260lb woman "healthy" and "beautiful". The reason is because the former option is "hard" and not "fun".

I don't think it should be mandated but if a place wants to put it on the menu I don't see the problem

Paul Carter:

quote:

I've written several articles about the obesity problem, and without fail, they either get met with a standing ovation or the hatred intensity of 10,000 suns.
-
Clearly this is a very emotional issue for the great majority of people. And any time an issue becomes an overly emotional one, then logic and facts and even common sense tends to go right out the window. Just ask some dude who actually thinks that deadlifts are a back exercise.
-
But to go on here, let's deal with the common sense part first.
-
People get overweight from eating too much. That's it. That's all. Even in rare medical conditions that people like to bring up, those too can be managed by managing energy balance. -
Genes are often brought up as well. But the fact is, obesity has become an epidemic only in the last few decades. If it was a genetic issue then we'd have seen obesity as a problem in direct correlation with certain genealogy. But there's no pattern. There's no "obesity gene". It's a good bet your ancestors were in fact, not obese.
-
In countries where food is more scarce, there is no obesity issue. Zero. 100% of the time, where there's less food there's no obesity. In this case, the cause and correlation is 100% factual.
-
And now, unfortunately, we're living in a time where it's considered fat shaming if you talk about the facts related to obesity, like how it's directly connected to various cancers, and type II diabetes.
-
Fat activism is a plague, and one that goes out of its way in order to suppress legitimate medical findings and information in order to further the "healthy at every size" movement. Which does far more damage because it is not helping people to actually confront reality. Which is this.....
-
YOU CANNOT BE HEALTHY AT EVERY SIZE. If you're obese, your health will crumble, and you'll die due to a obesity related disease. This isn't fat shaming. This is fact.
-
Don't be a continued part of the problem. Be a part of the solution

Maynard the prophet. I am feeling more and more like this everyday. At some point I'm going to move back to a third world country to retire. They are just ecstatic to have any healthy food to eat at all...

Don’t let the gaslighting of the media and institutions make you feel like you are the crazy one.

Eat healthy
Work out
Be happy

But don’t be afraid to push back against the unstable, unhealthy and unhappy people who want you to be just as miserable as they are.

We have to be approaching the collapse of the hyper-decadent world, correct?

This stupidity can’t go on forever, right?

His contract started in May of 2020, and goes through 2023, so 2.5 years and is worth at least 200 million dollars.
