As long as they vote right when they move to Texas they’ll enjoy the freedoms and immediate financial pay raises for decades while California continues to rot.

He and Jamie certainly aren’t voting for Biden.

And Trump needs to go ahead and legalize weed nationwide.

Joe has already tried this once by moving to BFE Colorado. We'll see how long this sticks. Gotta imagine his in studio guest list takes a hit. He catches a lot of folks who live in LA or are making the rounds in LA for business.

Can't blame him though. No state income taxes on his spotify deal make it a no brainer.

I'm willing to bet he keeps his California address and uses his Texas address for tax purposes.

Austin, I’m assuming.

I would guess he's not going to live in a city, but I could be wrong.

Don’t you have to prove that you live there for 51% of the year?

Seems hard to fake if you host a podcast

Funny, on his show he is for higher taxes and Bernie. Yet, goes to Texas.

Honestly he seems somewhat libertarian, but he did say he would probably vote for Bernie (In the General).

Now I realize those things don’t match.

It’s strictly because of the lockdown, protesting/riots and bums everywhere which is a result of liberal policies

LA was crowded when he moved there.

Do you realize California’s state income tax for his bracket is over 12%? That’s 12 million of the 100 million dollar contract he signed.

You pay taxes on work based on where work is performed. If he's living in California and doing the show there then he must pay California state taxes. Doesnt matter what your address is.

Joe's had enough of the California lockdowns.

That and the Spotify money with no state taxes. 12.3% of $100M is alot of money to give to a government that is actively fricking you over.

Interesting part will be guests. Celebrities and the like are always in LA. Not so much in Texas.
