Probably somewhere just west of Austin or hill country, generally, i.e. God's country. One of the last bastions for easy living and civilized society.

fricking rattlesnakes though....

ETA: My wife and I are considering a move to Houston when she's done with residency. We love Chicago, but they are doubling our state tax rate this year. It's going to be even worse when she's an attending.

I was never a huge fan of his standup despite listening to his podcasts a good bit. But it was pretty good live, a lot better than what I've seen from him on Netflix and what not.

Me exactly.

He should really stick to his podcast. But he has been doing stand up for a while. Just seems he should be a lot better at it for someone in the game as long as he has been.

Do you realize California’s state income tax for his bracket is over 12%? That’s 12 million of the 100 million dollar contract he signed.

yes. but that’s not why he’s moving to tx

It’s absolutely PART of the reason he’s moving out of California. Maybe not the only reason, but he has said multiple times that absurd state taxes are one of the reasons.

These guys have too many ghosts in their closets in LA. See Chris D'elia. They all do. Rogan included. They need to get the hell out of town asap

Honestly, I do think someone should start doing a late night tv show from Texas. It’s overwhelmed by Leftists in New York and LA. Maybe give Norm the late night show.

If I were rich I'd eat the tax and live in California just for the climate. As good as weather is in Austin it just doesn't compare with a Mediterranean climate.

Middle class and struggling to live in a small suburban home stacked on other homes? nah.

This guy publicly supported Bernie Sanders but yet he wants to move away from liberal policies?

frick that hypocrite

Basically all because of universal healthcare.

He thinks Newsom is an idiot and he isn’t exactly all in with BLM or the COVID lockdowns.

He’s a moderate in the sense that he supports issues from both sides of the aisle.
