Only people I never had a problem with was Subaru. Depending on the market, they are so thankful for a customer that they don’t go out their way to screw you.
I pretty much bought a loaded outback. Negotiated them down to what I was comfortable with. Then took the 0.0%. Told the F&I guy I was adding nothing extra.
No problems whatsoever. I’ve only bought cars in Baton Rouge, Houston and St. Louis.
Baton Rouge has by far the worst and dumbest F&I guys in the business.

What are the jobs where people just lie their asses off for a living?
Just about every job. The real sickening part are those that have 0 issue with getting caught in the lie. Having no shame comes with lots of practice.
I've always made the assertion that every car dealership in the world acts in a manner that would meet the definition of legal fraud at least 25 times per day.

Politicians. And to play devils advocate here.. Politicians have to lie to some degree. Sometimes things are more complex than a simple yes or no and depending on the situation you have to give a simple answer so they are forced to lie.
Not to mention, their job depends on you voting for them so they have to play a part, depending who they are around. If they were all completely honest, no one would win...

Everyone will always act in their own self interest.
So there's that.
So there's that.

McDonald's workers. I'm sure the shake machine is always "broken"
A few weeks ago I went to McDonalds and ordered a hot fudge Sunday and was told their machines were broken. I sent a tweet to McDonalds asking them to seriously please explain to me why are their so many McDonalds locations that seem to have so many problems with their ice cream machine. About two days later they responded, they told me that when they clean the machines they are not able to serve ice cream.
I just left it alone, but I was just thinking "so why do they always clean the ice cream machine in the middle of the day when more people are probably wanting to order ice cream"..
But if you ever go to Popeyes and order onion rings and they tell you they are out, chances are they are lying. Its because its not already fried. They have to go in the freezer and fry them.. And if the person don't feel like doing it they will tell you they are out. A friend of mine who is a HS teacher told me that's what one of her HS students, who worked at Popeye's, told her.

I work with these regularly and agree with you on contractors, but architects and engineers? How do they lie to you?

All politicians lie. Every single one of them. They have to. If you don't think Trump does not lie, then that is naive.. It doesn't matter what party they belong to. They are all full of shite.

I know that but this is the OT and others said politicians already but that a-hole had to single out Trump like he is different from the rest.

Any major company is filled with back stabbing liars, that's how they move up. If I've heard "we are family" once, I've heard it a 1000 times and it's never true, at the end of the day your are just a number.
