I know in the medical field if you have a CEO, COO, or CNO that is from the Triad Medical System they have been well trained to lie. I've worked with 5 of them. I figure they are either trained to lie or that Triad only trained a specific type of person to be a CO, and that type happens to include being a liar.

Car salesman and his manager were sitting across from my wife and I with the “four square”.
In the margin they had written in sharpie
31233 (price of car)
14337 (trade allowance)
1125 (tax and tag)
————
23246 OTD
The manager took his sharpie and said these are the numbers we talked about and pointed to the OTD number and said do you agree to the number right here. I’m no math whiz but they didn’t look right, plus the guys on the “bridge” were staring at us. Without saying a word I opened the calculator on my phone and salesman literally started stuttering w-w-what are you doing.
I told him these figures didn’t look right and showed him there was a $2500 difference or whatever. The manager said some bullshite about it being tax blah blah. I got up and walked the f out, telling them I didn’t want to do business with them. Scumbags
shite similar to this, every damn time!

I’ve never been outright lied to at a car dealership. People go in, get new car euphoria, and don’t fricking pay attention.

The minute they try that four square shite on me. I tell them, if you want to sell a car. You better find a trash can for that bullshite.

Nurses in hospitals. They usually always know exactly what's going on but have to act like they don't bc they can't tell you, doctor has to be the one to give info.

Not sure what’s so funny about an actual term being used correctly.

I’ve gotten to the point where I really detest having to deal with most outside marketing agencies. It’s like the vast majority of them are so locked into ridiculous hyper sales mode that they just can’t turn it off, even when it’s in their best interests to be more factual.
I had to go to the top about one representative in particular not that long ago who had been hired as a contractor. I came in with questions backed by hard evidence, and instead of attempting any kind of reasonable explanation, he kept repeating the same impossible story over and over and then tried to claim I had a personal vendetta. I didn’t know the guy and only cared whether or not he was doing his job, so none of it was a good look for him, His whole response was so ridiculous and so brazenly dishonest that I couldn’t decide whether I was furious or a little in awe of his commitment. He was so shady that he didn’t try to fight back when his contract was terminated that very day, though.
The really funny part is, had he not told me an obvious lie about something relatively inconsequential only a week or two before that, I doubt I would have had any reason to start digging into what he was doing until he’d had enough time to cover his tracks. I swear it was like he just couldn’t help himself.

they should probably start lying about something else being broken then. Their regular food is way worse for you than some ice cream.
