Just be a real man and grow a freaking beard. I have a beard that I trim with a norelco beard trimmer once a week. To clean up my neck line and cheeks I just use whatever the cheapest pack of disposable razors I can find. Hell I don’t even use shaving cream for that. Just razor to skin after I get out of the shower.

Just buy the best razors, ignore the advertising, and be better groomed and happier for it.

Try Dorco. South Korean company that's been in business since the Korean War ended. I swap between that and a safety razor with a Dorco ST301 blade depending on how much time I have.
Obviously, the safety razor blade is massively cheap, but the cartridge based razor is also far cheaper than Gillette.

My best razor…..not my favorite
I started watching this dude a year ago when I couldn’t find refills for my razor.
Never looked back. Pennies/day, shave ends up being better, skin feels great after each pass (most noticeable benefit imo).

Dorco are go-to for me. Usually every other blade change.
Astra Platinum are my other regular change blade.
Friend gave me some Personna recently and they did a good job.
When shaving for an event, or a big day or something I will go with Kai. Best blade on the market. Feather gives me a terrible shave, mostly hyperbole, to me.

It's the way to go. This is what I have been using for years:
Takes a little time to get used to it, but once you do, it's smooth sailing and much, much cheaper than cartridge razors.
