This is another great site that I’ve bought stuff from. Very affordable too.

What did Gillette do that offended you?

I answered this question clearly in the OP, so you are obviously just trolling with snarky comments.

With a safety razor? You mean the blades themselves or the actual razor?

Same thing I use. They do the job perfectly fine and cost much less than the big names.

Beard trimmer on lowest setting works fine. Shave your neck in between trims. You’re a guy. Have a little stubble and be done with it.

This is where I am now.

I switched to safety razor before getting out. It wasn’t a pain to get used to and gave a better shave.

I’ve only shaved twice in the last 7 years since being out.

My hands shake, always have. I end up cutting myself once a month or so just chopping veggies.

Another vote for Astra Platinum. They just work. Tried many other blades, including Feather, and they just weren't the right combination of comfort and effectivess.

I use a Merkur 34C. Again, it just works. Nothing fancy, no struggling over how aggressive you want to be. Just enjoy the shave.

If I were to change anything, I think I might find a 3 piece razor, as they can collapse to a smaller package when taken apart for travel. For my two piece 34C, I just adapted a small container from Hobby Lobby by cutting some slots in the dividers. Works perfectly to protect the razor in my dopp kit and even has some room for a 5-count box of blades. It all works.

I use Stirling Soap Company shave soap and brush. Love their scents.
