Oceanco would likely have needed to sail the partly constructed yacht under the bridge and finish construction at another dock.
This seems like a perfectly reasonable solution. Especially compared to dismantling an historic bridge.

Yea, remember you’ll put more for the same service so this mother fricker and Wall Street doesn’t lose a dime

Too bad Spacey is blackballed now, he would be the obvious choice to play Bezos in a movie.

That's what Test and HGH will do to you. Plus God knows what else.

Seems like this is the yacht builder's issue, not Bezos.
Don’t let that get in the way of shitting on Jeff Bezos.

Will the city get a profit in addition to him paying for it to happen? Be another way the rich helps locals/poors. Crying about an occasional unendangered lion being hunted in Africa where its meat is used and they people pay the area.

Ehh that’s not the picture I’d think he had work.

shipbuilder Oceanco would cover the costs
About 5 years ago, the school down the street removed some modular buildings in order to build permanent ones. The buildings would not fit between mailboxes on one side of the road, and street light poles on the other. The moving company demolished all mailboxes, moved the buildings, then rebuilt everyone's mailbox better than new. We're talking brick and ornamental mailboxes.
Seems like Rotterdam could leverage this situation. I also find it very Huey P Long-ish that the ship building capital of Europe is limited by a 50m wide by 40m tall restriction via a not so historic bridge.
