I’m really surprised “elected officials” was announced, and that they haven’t just siphoned off of the doses bound for the nursing homes already.

That’s nice. My mom says she’s still not taking the vaccine.

My grandfather is in his 80s, had an appt with Ochsner, cancelled, now on a wait list.

Why are they adding people to eligibility list when they are having trouble meeting the demand they currently have?

Yeah, no way they let us go back to normal.

they're about to start session, and since they all are gonna hang out at the Ruths Chris bar without masks anyway, now they aren't technically hypocrites.

Because the State decided in all their 'wisdom' that it was necessary to squeeze vax shipments to hospitals and instead give more to pharmacies and doctors offices.

My hospital received zero 'first round' vax's this week, after showing how we could do a few thousand shots a week 2 weeks ago; all while pharmacies and doctors offices are calling us for help since they dont have the manpower or capacity to handle even a couple hundred or so...

The 65+ rule will cover 90% of elections workers by itself.

We are able to do 1,000 vaccines a day easy at our hospital locations. Instead, daddy govt loves to send these to pharmacies who are completely overwhelmed

We could easily handle doing 20,000 a day system wide

I believe that may be the CDC guideline, but I don't think JBE is following that.

I have a elderly family member who for whatever reason waited until early last week to get on the wait list with Ochsner for the vaccine. She's 78 and at in the at risk category.

Is there some other option I should tell her to go with to maybe get the vaccine sooner?
