I thought we were going to let science dictate our moves.

Even My 85 year old grandma is disappointed in the global response of this virus. She said when measles was around there were quarantines and signs in front of people’s houses but people still lived their lives. What’s happening right now is outright communism.

Funny how anybody thinks they can hide from a virus. Everybody will be exposed and either get it or not. Why we allow politicians to wreck our livelihood fighting the inevitable is frustrating. We all die but not all of us apparently want to choose to try to live.

so are social gatherings limited across the board or only in specific situations? If specific situations which ones are they?

I didn't see the whole press conference.

These graphs are bullshite. They don't represent the fact that early on, they ONLY tested those exhibiting symptoms AND if they were an at risk person. Misleading fear mongering.

frick the thousands of people that have lost their jobs, lively hood, businesses, everything they've worked for, and anyone who says otherwise!!!! Pull your holier than thou head out of JBE's arse for a few seconds so you can take a breath. Just make sure you're wearing a mask when you do it.

I’m not arguing anything to do with shutting down the economy. I’m talking about all of you being childish about wearing a mask. Maybe if most of you weren’t petty about it, the numbers would be lower and we wouldn’t have to talk about shutting down again.

But your principle and “freedom” and making this political is more important than all these jobs and all you’re speaking about.

We still lived our lives for both SARS and swine flu.

You’re saying asymptotic people are breaking into people’s houses and forcing high risk people to get infected?

Obviously thats what i said

quote:

Because how does me wearing a mask in public stop a random asymptotic person from infecting a high risk person?

You dont see how someone who has the virus and doesnt realize it, could spread it to someone at a restaurant/bar/etc, to several people, who then unknowingly take it home to elderly paremts/grandparents/high risk people?

What good does requiring a mask to be worn to enter a restaurant when you have to take it off to eat and drink?

Why is it ok to sit at a table to eat and drink but not a bare top even if it’s “socially distant”. Point is these rules are arbitrary and don’t prevent shite.

Just buy the thinnest piece of shite mask you can find and you won’t even notice it. I have to work with a mask on and while it’s not my favorite thing, there are definitely things that are worse.

November 5th the virus goes away, that's why. If it wasn't political why didn't he condemn the protests?

It’s hard to take you seriously when you refuse to acknowledge there are legitimate counterpoints to your position.

Maybe this is the best course of action for the time being, but dismissing the concerns about the governor unilaterally forcing a business to close is pretty obtuse of you, especially now where there’s no more small business loans and enhance unemployment is about to end.
