Shouldn’t the men have larger waist size than a woman? What am I missing? Women should have a 28” waist or smaller. Fatty cakes if not

That seems really thin as US pants sizes don’t match inches, this would be like saying if your pants waist size is over 30 you need intervention, what would that be 95% of men over 40 in the United States?

It would need to be adjusted for height. Americans are taller than Japanese (I think). Supposedly, your waist should be half of your height. So if you are 6'0, which is 72 inches. Your waist should be under 36 inches to be healthy. It would go up the taller the person.
