The whole thing leaves so many questions in my head. Why did he wait so late? Wouldn’t more damage be done earlier? Was there a target? Could he found a place closer to home?

Christ. I don’t usually do this but let me spell is out for you. A poster named Saunson69 was saying some dumb shite and asked what jabbar’s original last name was and I replied Saunson.

Correct me if I’m wrong bc it’s been a few years, but are those bombs basically bracketing in the block where Pat O’Briens is?
If so, his plan may have been to turn down bourbon like he did and eventually stop running over people and open fire making people run to the block where Pat Os is, then detonate the bombs with that block densely populated

I’m sure they will track his whereabouts and whatnot but my guess is that he was going to set off those bombs and then drive down bourbon street during the aftermath when people would be heading toward canal to get back to hotels. When the bombs didn’t go off he probably had to rethink his plan or some thing

What a world we live in. I would argue this location geographically is the worst possible location for someone to have done something like this.
I would be nervous asf if I were a member knowing Texas is open carry and if we get down to it doesn’t frick about.
What?

Seems we need some kind of order here:
- Terrorist name was Shamsud-Din Jabbar
- 42 years old
- located Houston Texas
- born in Beaumont Texas
- 10 year Army vet
- honorable discharge
- worked in tech Deloitte in a staff-level role making 120k and hired in 2021
- Worked for Ernst and Young
- worked human resources and IT for the Army
- he was married three times and has children from two relationships. His first marriage ended in 2012, and his second lasted from 2013 to 2016. He married once again in 2017 before divorcing in 2022
- he had a criminal record for theft and trespassing
- his second ex wife had a restraining order against him
- he converted to the Muslim faith long ago and lived most of his life with the faith but raised Christian
- went to Central High School in Texas
- he never "changed his name"
- his father has the same surname
- supposedly had gotten a job in Louisiana according to his brother

Wow, his dad is a seemingly nice guy. Told me his story about getting out if Kuwait/Iraq many years ago while eating at his restaurant. Seemed to have valued loyalty in business and friendship above anything else he did.

Does it really matter all that much. Generally for New Years Eve, much of the crowd is down toward the river watching the fireworks and then go back to Bourbon later.
Maybe he’s thinking there would be less security that late.
You can question this and play scenarios all day long. He could have waited and ran over people on Poydras or a nearby street two hours before the Sugar Bowl. Even after the Sugarbowl downtown there would have been big crowds

I read on Twitter while the situation was fluid that it was because of some of his "views"
Granted, easy to say after what just happened

So I'm supposed to know your inside joke in a 200 page thread where people are hoping to get legitimate information, and your response is to say you got my bitch arse? Are you 16?

I’m thinking he failed at his bomb making/detonator making. He planted bombs and they didn’t go off when he tried to detonate. This was a secondary option.

The little improvised awning things seem like a nice addition to the overall aesthetic here.

It’s not an inside joke. In my original post which you commented on you see that I replied to a guy named Saunson. I even highlighted a screenshot for your simple arse to make it easy but you gotta be all full of soy and get offended.
Glad we agree that you’re a bitch arse though

Certainly not out of the realm of possibility, but there's a HUGE gulf in my eyes between remotely bombing some people and running them over and getting into a shootout that has a 0% chance of survival.
Like Plan A he's not only surviving, he's relatively anonymous until security tapes are reviewed after the fact. Plan B he's dead within seconds.

Remind me why pat os is key to this plan specifically?
