thought I read he used plastic explosives like C4. I guess that could've been rumor instead of fact, though.
Ah. Maybe so.
I haven't really seen where the FBI or anyone actually involved with the investigation release any details of the actual IEDs aside from in a cooler, and video of Jabbar placing them.
I take what the media says with a grain of salt. Half them morons don't even know what a C4 is other than its in movies and goes bang.

This Vegas press conference is like night and day compared to the NOLA clown show yesterday.

I’ll give Kilpatrick some credit. She has no problem telling the truth and admitting her incompetence and failures.

Group of Notre Dame fans was clapping and chanting their fight song walking down the blocks where the attack happened apparently. Opening those blocks is just strange to me.

If you gotta take a positive away....
Night and day with Teedy who would never admit being wrong if she were dying and you had the antidote.

There are all kinds of shitbags in this country that will sell you whatever you want as long as they make money.
Maybe he was introduced to some of these networks when he traveled to Egypt?

I know that's kind of whatever, but what are they supposed to be doing?

One of the reports referenced c4 but that’s the type of mixup I’d expect day 1, not the extensive 4 people at multiple locations

I’m hearing from friends at the Sugar Bowl that security is tighter than they have ever seen, and these are seasoned travelers.

No doubt. We had them, but we didn’t know we had them.

This killer served in the Army for 10 years and based on his MOS (job specialty) he had absolutely no access / training on explosives other than what every other REMF in Army gets on IED/VBIED awareness.
He obviously was not well trained on explosives nor supported by a real terror group on how to put them together / deploy, hence the truck being used at 0300 hours and no other coordinated attacks in NOLA.
A lone wolf who due to his incompetence thankfully was unable to do even worse carnage despite almost equal government incompetence.

Looking up his last name and country of origin on google, it is by far most prevelent in Iraq. Over 250,000 have the suriname in Iraq. No other country has over 5,000 instances. ISIS is in Iraq and Syria.
Definitely of Iraq origin.

When did that happen? At least 12 years ago his name was the same.

Where did he get the explosives from? I mean it's not like we can just buy C4 just so.
I mean, you could just use gun powder. You dont need anything special like a C4 charge or Dynamite.
Yep. Pipe bombs are very easy to make with regular gunpowder, and would be extremely dangerous.
ETA: Easy to make with something like fireworks or cannon fuse. No idea on remote detonation.
I'm guessing some idiotic politician or media person came up with C4 and others ran with it. Given some of the ways this went down and that there was never a bomb exploded, I'm guessing it was not actual C4.
