Not only that but it also shows her constituents that she is willing to eat in public after a very deadly terror attack occurred as many may be terrified I am sure I could bad mouth her for something else but this also shows strength and courage so I commend her for that
Meh - basically a Rorschach test with the lack of info. We can create any narrative we want from Cantrell eats lunch at Houston’s. Silly to have any opinion on that statement as a standalone

Another NOLA.com update:
quote:
Authorities found at least four improvised explosive devices in and around the French Quarter Wednesday morning after a man plowed through a crowd on Bourbon Street, killing 15 and injuring dozens more, according to a law enforcement source with knowledge of the investigation. About 30 minutes after police say 42-year-old Shamsud-Din Jabbar slammed a pickup truck into the crowd at 3:15 a.m., police found a homemade bomb near police cars parked at Orleans and Bourbon streets. The device was a pipe bomb with nails and plastic explosives concealed inside of an ice chest, the source said. Police have since shot and killed Jabbar who also shot two NOPD officers before he was struck dead.
quote:
About an hour later, a similar bomb was found near The Shops at JAX Brewery on Decatur Street. A third bomb was later found in the 600 block of Bourbon Street. An additional bomb was located in a purple suitcase at North Rampart Street and Esplanade Avenue, according to the source. The remote control that controlled two of the bombs was found inside of Jabbar's truck, according to the source. Additional explosive materials were also inside the truck, including two mason jars with clear explosive material. Surveillance footage identified a second vehicle, registered to the same owner as the Ford-F150, that ran into the crowd Wednesday morning and was observed following the suspect's pickup truck. Footage captured three men and one woman placing the first device at Orleans and Bourbon streets and then tracked them to the additional locations.
quote:
State police SWAT and the FBI went to the vehicles' registered owner's address in Harvey, but didn't find anything, according to the source.Detectives then relocated to the Mandeville Street address linked to the suspect to discover it was on fire. The New Orleans Fire Department said the fire was arson and that bomb-making material was present at the location. Both vehicles involved have a history of multiple border crossings into Mexico at the Eagle Pass and Brownsville points of entry, according to the source.

Wasn't allowed to join national guard? All reports say he was in the guard.
This source is shady.

Maybe I’m misunderstanding but does that mean 2 vehicles owned by the same people were rented through Turo we’re involved with placing bombs and the terror attack in the Frenchquarter?

Did you get off the tart cart at the wrong thread?

Law enforcement now has determined that those people had nothing to do with this incident. At this point, it appears that those people seen on surveillance video did not have anything to do with placing devices in the French Quarter.”
So the people they observed placing devices had nothing to do with placing devices?
And then they wonder why we've lost trust in all of them...

There’s so much info flying about the vehicle/owner etc It’s difficult to piece it all together. Especially when probably 60% of what’s being reported is probably false.

The reports I saw said he was in the Army, not the ANG.
It’s possible his domestic violence or DUI had a hand in not being able to join the ANG.

He was in the Army. I took that to mean he couldn't join the NG after he was discharged due to what supposedly happened while he was Army.
