Old school managers are retired or near retirement or death.
Get the tattoos if you want the tattoos. If you make money for the company, Gen X and after managers don’t care. Just dont get tats on the face or neck.

When I see someone with a tattoo (especially the wraparounds on forearms, necks, and legs), I see someone with major toxic issues buried deep down within them.

What’s your theory on using alcohol for the same reason?

Remember when you thought Paw Patrol was the coolest thing ever? How awesome would it be now if you had them tattooed on your arm?
If I had to suggest a tattoo for you, I would advise on getting a straw man

I would not hire someone if I knew they had a tattoo.
Simply a sign of someone who makes bad decisions.
You need them to make good decisions at work
People with tats are capable of being great employees

Right. I know people who have their deceased kids name tattooed on them somewhere. I'll never criticize those folks. Tats dont have to be trashy, its just that too many people become addicted to them. I get a kick out of these welfare junkies who have literally thousands of dollars of ink on them.
It’s smart to have some to blend in.

What does that say if 30-40% of the public has visible tattoos, but 0% in white collar offices in my experience have them.
That you don't understand the extremely narrow scope of anecdotal evidence, or the inherent confirmation bias associated with it.

I laughed with coworkers the other day that there are more tattoos on our HR department reps than what we see in the truck drivers lounge, and it's all white women in the office jobs that are tatt'ed up with sleeves of flowers and stupid shite all over meanwhile 99% of the truck drivers have no visible tattoos.

I had one inked up engineer in 40 odd years. He was meticulous about wearing long sleeves to cover his, which made no sense to me. He was a little on the weird side, one of those guys who was going to be permanently on the technical track, but that's OK for some.
No one else in the professional ranks that I knew had anything visible.
Now in the restaurant industry, you judge how good a cook is by the ink on their arms.
You can also just about always tell who the bad managers are by the ink.

Between this and your post about GTA, you seem like you got a real nose stuck up in the air attitude. Probably a real fun guy to be around.

Your coworkers have them. You just don’t see them.
Usually….

Most upper-level white collar jobs are long sleeve button up shirts and pants. So basically you're talking about not getting face, neck or large hand tats. I think most people know that you can't do that in most serious professional environments.

The real tragedy is that tattoos have ruined porn for me. It used to mainly be the “alternative” broads, but now it’s damn near all of em.

Only one thing it can say…. You never have seen them naked.

Scruffy saw this lady at the store the other day, had to be in her 70s, with multiple tattoos on her neck, leg, arms, and shoulders.
Saggy skin, elderly posture, and a shitload of tattoos.
She looked hilarious.
