I work with some doctors, though not very many, that have tattoos.

I do know someone that works for a CPA firm that has a no visible tattoo policy.

I don’t like them, but it’s gotten to the point that I feel like it’s basically only the wealthy that seem like they don’t have them.

Most people on the anti-tattoo bandwagon are scared to get them due to the pain. Everyone cool wants tattoos

I see people like this in their 20’s/30’s and wonder what they are going to do for the rest of their life. Probably wind up on every government program to skate by while my kids work their butts off for 40 years

Tattoos are trashy and beloved by dumb people.

I'd bet a $1000 right now that a pool of a 100 people without tats have made better life decisions than the other 100 with tats.

It wouldn't even be close to being close.

Tats (and any body alterations including plastic surgery) are what damaged humans use to hide their angst and pain.

Ok what company we going to approach for this challenge?

The people being discussed are not in prison. They have already earned a degree.

The pool we have to choose from is the white collar pool. You don’t get to go pick people off the street. We aren’t talking about them. White collar workers.

You probably have 69 in your personal email address, also. I have not hired more people because of childish things on their resume, such as having 69 in their username/email, than anything to do with their personal appearance. Who cares? Get a life, 69 boy.

I understand if people get a meaningful tat, like a lost childs name, or a song verse/scripture in some non conspicuous place.

But when I see people who are all inked up, Its a clear sign of inner disgust with whom they are.

This is a warning if younger people are wanting a tattoo. It kills your job and career prospects or at least brings your chances down some. You may read on Reddit that it doesn't, but it absolutely does to old school managers.

Time and evolution is our only friend here.

It’s funny how much life factually and statistically improves collectively for the whole each and each time we move further and further away from these antiquated beliefs.

Face, neck, hands are sure signs of inner conflict and probably abuse when they were kids.

You are the exception. Unless you live on the West Coast where I believe it’s a lot more accepted. In general tattoos indicate a lack of impulse control and poor decision making skills.

Frankly I look forward to the day when the tattoo fad goes away.
