Since I have never tried to kick either I can't verify but every one of them said it was horrible.

It sucks. Bad. In 2018, I stopped drinking booze for 3 years. The first week was a little tough but it was a piece of cake after that. Giving up coffee is way worse in my opinion. I have at least been able to cut back from 8 cups a day down to 3 though.

It's easy to drink a lot of coffee too...I often think I'm only drinking a few cups, well they are large cups and it ends up being 1/2 a pot at least. Every day...I don't plan to quit.

But, I absolutely cannot stop with coffee. I've tried to stop cold turkey. I've tried to cut back a little more of it at a time. I've tried reading books on the subject. I cannot do it.
you can do it...it takes about a week to start feeling good again, but it is doable...I only drink caffeine sparingly.

Try negative reinforcement. Rig two electrodes to your testicles which are hooked up to a battery.
Halfway through the circuit install a switch that activates the loop when you lift your cofee cup off of the pressure switch. You pick up the coffee mug and you get your balls shocked.

You have got to go places where coffee is free. Like a casino gaming floor or a tireshop.

We have coffee at work to keep us fueled on the company dime.

Try half-caf for a while and then move on to decaf. That’s what worked for me. Finally gave up the decaf bc what’s the point.

It’s awesome to not be addicted to caffeine and to use it only when it’s necessary. Good luck baw.

Order some Magic Mind shots and you won’t ever drink coffee again. You will thank me later.

I guess I am lucky. I am 75 and have never even tasted coffee in my life. One less bad habit.

I buy the good stuff because I like to taste it when I drink it.

So your reason for wanting to quit is it’s expensive?
Your gonna need a better reason and stronger motivation

There are still long lines at the drive through at Starbucks every morning. Perhaps they are brewing a cheap cup.

Are there any brands I can have a look at that any of you know of are not affected as much by the tariffs?

Can’t help you. I’m paying north of $20 per pound. My coffee roaster keeps apologizing, but it’s the tariffs. The price will go back down when the tariffs go away, hopefully.

At this point, with the tariffs, it's now about $8.25 for same brick where I live.
