I feel like SE Louisiana would be a natural host site.

Agree. The Satan like heat we had today would most certainly be conducive to outdoor sporting events.

NOLA can't host the Olympics. No way they'd know when the starting pistol is fired.

Are you kidding me. Things would like great after billions are spent by other people to make venues and Olympic village worthy of hosting. There’s a lot of undeveloped land out in the East. As for crime, many visitors would welcome the chance to go native and experience what it’s like to be a real New Orleanian.
