I absolutely agree with this on its face.
I just worry about the public relying on these watermarks and then when a video doesn’t have one, they just instantly believe it to be real.
We all need to be more cognizant and on top of stuff way more now.

I know a group of international cyber nerds working on digital credentialing and content provenance and authenticity controls. Pretty cool stuff. Part of the goal is to combat things like deep fakes and AI generated content meant to deceive.

How do you define “real”? For all we know, “real” is simply electrical impulses interpreted by your brain.
