Gosh, that thread was hilarious. If that happened today, the admins would shut that thread down so quick and ban each and every one of y’all insensitive meanie-heads.

That is probably around the 10th longest thread the four longest AFAIK are:
I haven't been able to verify as the plains burn but it was somewhere in the 5-6k page range
The Ukraine war thread and its continuation is around 5200 pages and still semi-active
The Q thread was over 5k pages
The Bourbon thread is still active and the original and 2 continuation threads right at 4k pages
Just for reference there are 20 replies to a page. So the above threads had around 80,000 or more posts.

I remember it well. Anytime I wanted to post I had to saddle up the horse, ride into town where the telegraph office was located and dictate my reply.

Some of the guys on here can likely remember how many pages etc….
