You have always had more than a tinge of the tard, and this just proves it

Nationalism is a perversion of patriotism.
This is nonsense used to open the door to ridiculing and degrading one's own nation and people.

Actually, it’s pretty insightful and warns people against the great dangers of nationalism that we’ve seen throughout history. Those ignorant of history are doomed to repeat it and end up with a fascist or communist overlord.
This is much more meaningful and useful than your jackass reply.

Eh, people who know me would argue that vehemently.
With your posting history, how was I supposed to identify that as sarcasm?

It seems no matter how shitty a place is, people from there will defend it or say that's their home wit a sense of pride and that they wouldn't trade it for anything. People from Louisiana shite on Texas, new york, California. People from the UK shite on America. People from Wales shite on Ireland, vice versa. It's odd to me that even when a place sucks in every measurable category like Pakistan, people from there will sacrifice their lives to defend it.
Yes, people almost universally experience “Stockholm syndrome”. It’s not just that it’s normal human behavior.

Weren’t you the guy, a few weeks ago, bragging about cheating on his wife with a snorer?

I wasn't bragging, I was annoyed. Bragging would've been if I posted a picture

And how is patriotism inherently safer?

Typically the cultural aspects of where you grew up shape much of who you are.
I don't think "Nationalism" is the right way to put it. Culture stems from more than just a nationality.
Most people are proud of their culture even if there are shitty aspects to how its governed.
For example, I'm from LA but moved to MN. There are plenty of reasons I left LA and I am very critical of it. But I'm absolutely proud of being from LA and carry much of the cultural aspects with me still.

It’s a more innocent concept that doesn’t include imperialism and conquest.
It’s ok to take pride in your country and come to it’s defense against those who do wish to do harm to it. This is patriotism.
It’s not ok to want your country to invade, control, dominate, and subjugate the less powerful nations around it. (Like what Russia is doing to Ukraine right now) This is nationalism.

Let us know when you’ve actually made posts attempting to convince people to hate their country on Pakistani message boards
