Hard path to live. But they definitely chose it. Something about being so far out in left field and standing out is attractive to many people, while horrifying to others.

Take the infamous guy at Gamestop. Would anyone argue that man (yes- he is a MAN) was not carrying around a garbage bag full of mental issues?
He was absolutely INSISTENT that everyone around him acknowledge something that simply was....not....there: His non-existent "femininity". Something that existed only in his mind.
Maybe that was some type of odd cry for help- maybe not. But there's little doubt that man needed serious help.

Absolutely it is a mental disorder. The cure rate was around 90% for those that got appropriate help.
But, the media and crazies got a hold of this and basically shouted down the medical community and got the diagnosis changed.
It is a very sad situation for all of those caught up in this foolishness.

Some people are born with both parts, and doctors have to check to see which chromosome is the more dominant one.
This doesn't always add up to the baby being the correct sex, and some still have that female/male side in them, and they feel like that was the correct choice, not the one that was chosen for them.
Not a LBGTRSLEIWASHDBNWOJDSIHD fan, but i have a cousin who was born with both genitals, they found his male chromosomes to be more dominant, and took care of female parts, but he was always very effeminate growing up as a kid. Made some wonder if they gave him the correct sex.
