Vaping can be used as a tool for smokers to stop smoking, in that regard it isn't trashy at all (and they don't stink the place up). When I see teenagers vaping just to be vaping, well, that's trashy.

Eh, I honestly am ok with it if it’s done outside and not some idiot thinking blowing clouds of whatever in a confined space is ok.

I’ll agree with others, the worst part about cigarettes is the damn smell. That’s the first thing I noticed when I quit smoking cigs, you smell like absolute white trash shite. I’ll take someone smelling like fairy farts from a vape over cigarettes.

Vapes weren’t around when I quit but I sure as hell would’ve probably tried them if they were.

It does look kind of ridiculous when you see someone sucking on the end of a battery pack though.

I don't generally enjoy blowing people up on anonymous message boards, but the whole anti-vaping thing really sticks in my craw.

I remember having a conversation with a guy who'd had a really hard life but who'd come through it and earned my respect. His comment was that vaping was great. He didn't have to leave his desk every couple of hours to smoke. Didn't smell like crap anymore, was breathing better, and so on.

My thought was, you know, sometimes technology really does come through and make things better for people. And then, about 15 minutes after this conversation, the anti-vaping crusade started.

You don't want to vape? Fine. But why are my tax dollars paying for slick CGI anti-vaping ads? (tHat's MeTaL, BruH! In ya' lungs!)

Why would kids ever get kicked out of school for vaping? Why would we care enough to negatively impact someone's education?

Why do I have to read THIS frickING THREAD over and over again?

At the end of the day I think some people just don't like to see other people enjoy themselves. It's just this rotten, Calvinist, Puritanical school of thought that has just ruined this country in so many ways.

Vaping is ... yeah, "pathetic" is a pretty good word.

I used a vape (juul) to quit smoking cigarettes. I’m no doctor, but the physical effects of vaping nicotine compared to cigarettes is virtually zero. When you smoke cigs, you hack up black/yellow phlegm every morning, vapes generally don’t do that or much of anything else- maybe they give you elephantitis or something down the line, who knows.
