Look into Sunriver resort near Bend, Oregon. 4 golf courses on the resort and you can get a fly fishing guide on the Sun river

Like anyplace it depends on where you live. You couldn't pay me to live in the Atlanta suburbs in 2025.
What what’s wrong with the suburbs north of Atlanta? I haven’t been on a while but I remember them as being very nice.

earth is 4.5 billion years old and yet, we focus on only 2000 years of it.
I would say we focus on about 6,000 years of it. Which is generally considered the amount of time civilizations have existed

My mom was religious her whole life. Got dementia in 2009. She paid those blood suckers $150 every Sunday. When she couldn’t drive anymore they offered to come take her to church. One Sunday she had forgotten her check and left it on the dining room table. They never came again. Her “church” of decades abandoned her. I took care of her the next 9 years. So. No. I don’t believe in God. It’s been a con for 2,000 years. Let me sell you something for a couple hundred thousand dollars but you don’t get it until after you die.
Well that’s absolutely terrible but is it safe to assume you weren’t a Christian prior to this happening?

There are good studies on this that show the Bible doesn’t say how old the Earth is. The first two chapters of Genesis have not been translated well from their origins.
And many scholars say the ages in the genesis genealogies are symbolic numbers and not literal ages.

Many scientists, including Sir Fred Hoyle, have argued that the sheer complexity of even the simplest life forms makes their spontaneous generation from non-living matter incredibly unlikely.

Again we are both making truth claims. Prove the universe came about from natural causes.
We are both making truth claims.
