can my regular doctor test me for Low T during my yearly physical? After the test, does insurance cover the cost of the testosterone injections?

Yes and yes although test is so cheap, you don't even need insurance coverage for it.

There is an epidemic of drug companies pushing cures for it.

I'm 79. My Urologist wants my testoserone above 600. Every 4 months he inserts testoserone pellets in my butt. Usually 21 of them. They are about twice the size of a grain of rice. Relatively painless and they keep my testoserone above 500 for 4-5 months.

I’m 61. I’ve been on TRT for five years. My levels were about 240 when tested. They average around 1000 now. Huge difference in my quality of life.

My levels are around 600 every annual wellness visit but if they fall below 350, I’d probably consider TRT.

1000+ seems Abby Normal.

My doc is pretty conservative and thinks a 61-year old shouldn’t naturally have numbers above 1000 so he tries to keep me around that. Maybe 800-1000. I’m good with it.

You might want to edit this and mention it's subcutaneous in to the fatty tissues of your glutes.

Just saying.

My concern at my age is that it thickens the blood and increases incidence if prostate cancer.

Yes. I only been on it for a little over six months so we are still working out the kinks. I feel good at that level but yes if I were older I would not want to be so high because of the blood thickness issue

By all accounts, once the Dr gets you dialed in, you will not have any issues other than ball shrinkage.

Now that you are on TRT, your testes will no longer make test so they shrink.

I wouldn’t mind for my doctor to prescribe me some testosterone steroids to get a pump like Arnold Scwazeneger or Barry Bonds

If this is all you want, peptides may be better. Some, like sermorelin, tell your body to boost HGH production.

This was a very welcome side effect for me. Made my hog look bigger.

Got off TRT and onto clomid for fertility reasons, I can barely walk now

My dad had both major heart problems and prostate cancer, so I would be very careful about taking it and only in consultation with my doctor.

Testosterone-D is a big factor in enlarged prostates. I learned that from doing the animation and production of the Proscar drug launch.

I mean….okay, sure, I’m absolutely open to this theory, but

What explains the differences between people?

I drink from play bottles all day, pitcher inserts, just shite plastic….and my T is just fine?
