It’s often a matter of different sellers. It’s more marketplace than store

Here in Dallas, 2 day shipping is pretty on point, but the thing that aggravates me about Amazon is all of the bullshite products you have to wade through in their search engine.
Say I'm looking to get a new pair of wireless headphones. I type that in search and 5,000 results pop up, but 4,500 of them are basically the same Chinese pair rebranded 4000 times with stupid names like Yokoo or something. You really have to shift through crap to find recognizeable brands.
This is true of practically every product I ever search for. I hate it and steer clear of Amazon more and more.

I've got no problem if you don't want to do what I suggested. It has worked for me several times, including at Lowe's.

The only problem I've had is that the post office doesn't want to leave packages at your door
I have one of those large plastic deck storage boxes that my USPS driver puts my packages in. It is located under my porch by the house door.

I use to buy all kind of shite on Amazon. I'd make an order and end up finding shite I didn't really need (I guess we do this from time to time at the store as well), but then all of a sudden I got tired of it. I rather look at something in person before I buy it. There are some things I still order off of Amazon.. Green tea, dog treats, electronic related items here and there, so I would say the shine has come off of Amazon for me.

I still use amazon a lot but its growth has started to worry me. I would like to stop using them TBH.

Companies are tired of getting their arse kicked by Amazon and are starting to figure out how to play to their competitive advantage.
The advantage of the B&M stores is being able to get the item now, as opposed to having to wait for it to be shipped. However, people don't want to pay more / deal with standing in lines for items. If you can pay same price, and just walk in a couple of hours later, and walk out pretty quickly with your items... that's a huge advantage.
WalMart's stores and in-store shopping experience is still a cluster. But... they have the size and the clout and the logistics to fight Amazon. Wal Mart's grocery online order deal is very nice... and their pick up in 2 hours thing on other items works very well. You get WalMart prices without having to deal with WalMart employees... or worse... WalMart customers =)

I like amazon because of their return policy. I find myself buying all my sex toys from there. I can use and return what I don’t like and no questions are asked.
Tiny dick = no wear and tear = trouble free return

I look at reviews.
I NEVER buy from Amazon.
They are evil.

Nope. They don't charge tax on everything.

Is the "shine" coming off of Amazon a little bit for you
Not this time of year. fricking shopping malls.
Except Barnes and Noble. I like giant book stores and I hope we never lose them.
