I wonder if these groceries and gas stations will make those sneeze guards permanent.

At my unit if you don’t shake hands we hold you down and cough on you

I'm hoping the better hygiene sticks around. Everyone washing hands constantly has to help with cold and flu and norovirus

No, it's just in timeout.

Handshake should have been dead a long time ago. This ain’t the first year someone died from an infectious disease.

This is why we are in this mess, people are dumb and gross

Shaking hands doesn’t give you the virus. Just don’t be a dumb gross mongoloid and wash your hands before you eat or start digging in your eyes

It can increase the chances of spreading it (and other infections) from one host to another. Maybe there is a reason why many cultures (including some Western ones) had contactless forms of greetings.

C’mon brah, what did the Mongolians ever do to you to deserve this rant? Do Mongolians even shake hands?

Shaking hands is silly. The euro double cheek kiss is done as well.

Handshake will come back, except for maybe people who felt uncomfortable shaking hands before this all happened who will use it as an excuse.

I'm hoping the whole "wash your damned hands" thing sticks around, regardless.

I hope it is, but doubtful. I'm not much of a handshaker person even before all this. It's not that I'm THAT much of a germophobe, but I just really don't care to be that close to people. I can't stand those people that wanna come up and pat you on the back and shake and hold on to your hand while they tell you their life story.

No thanks. I just try and make sure I'm always carrying something in my hands so those idiots don't even bother approaching me.

I’m done with the handshake unless I’m in a situation where it would really cost me. Having lived in Japan I’ve been done with it for 30 years anyhow. I don’t want any contact with any of you filthy degenerates.
