No thanks. I just try and make sure I'm always carrying something in my hands so those idiots don't even bother approaching me.

I hold my dick. I can't lose it so it's always available and it takes up both hands, so it's perfect.

I hope so. It is an antiquated salutation proving your hands are free of weapons. Is that really necessary anymore? I like the Japanese system of bowing.

I'm really interested in what the 2020/2021 flu season is going to look like.

Predicted "dead" list:

(1) The EURO kiss thing

(2) Handshaking among the most cautious companies (I can readily picture every major oil company doing this, we like to make up new safety rules annually - especially those office types who don't deal with any real danger).

(3) Going to work sick (H1N1 dealt the first knock to this 10 years ago, Corona is going to be the death blow).

Obscure predictions:

(1) Hand sanitizer demand is going to stay extremely elevated. Restaurants/bars may even have it available for customers.

(2) Masks won't be common outside major cities, but you will see a noticeable increase in non-Asians wearing them throughout the world. School environments may take to making masks a policy. In which case, 20-30 years from now we may see mainstream mask usage in the Western World.

I hope it is, but doubtful. I'm not much of a handshaker person even before all this. It's not that I'm THAT much of a germophobe, but I just really don't care to be that close to people. I can't stand those people that wanna come up and pat you on the back and shake and hold on to your hand while they tell you their life story.

No thanks. I just try and make sure I'm always carrying something in my hands so those idiots don't even bother approaching me.

I bet you have a weak handshake.

Too many people have the idea that our bodies are naturally squeaky clean and without microbes. We have 10x’s the amount of bacteria on and in our bodies than the number of cells. And lots of viruses too. Our immune systems work by being exposed viruses and developing antibodies. We make ourselves susceptible to infection when we short circuit our immune system by trying to keep ourselves sterilized.

Of course, there are times like now when the pathogen is too new and/or too deadly, so a different strategy (keeping sterile) is a good idea for a while.

We’ll go back to our “normal” behaviors before too long. Remember that the handshake and hugging etc. survived as a social custom through the plagues of the Middle Ages.

I'm hoping the better hygiene sticks around. Everyone washing hands constantly has to help with cold and flu and norovirus

Regardless shaking hands is just dumb. Im guilty, that shite is just ingrained in business, but it is stupid. Gonna do my best to just give it up.

I like the handshake. If everyone else gives it up I'll guess I have no choice, but I think real men will still shake hands.

Funny, I'm old but I always noticed it was the people trying to act 'manly' were the ones that usually ended up being the ones hiding their homosexuality. I'd rather not shake hands or hell even talk to most people because I can't really stand most people.

Funny, I always noticed the people who didn't shake hands were the ones that you couldn't trust and secretly brushed their teeth with dick

Simple solution to this is to go live in the woods alone until you die
