It allows you to cut the lines by scheduling via the app a future available time.
If you play the game right you can do this for 4 or more rides depending on how many people bought it for that day and how long you will be in a park.

Sure. Donate as much to the groomers as you want.

As you continue to pay increased prices for whatever cable or streaming service you have that allows you to watch games on espn.

No
ETA: we used it for a one day trip to Magic Kingdom, and most of the time all you're able to book are rides that don't have much of a wait time anyway.
You might get to skip two decent ride lines a day.

Best thing to add to a Disney trip is a trip to someplace else.

Here now
Answer in short is hell yes
Time is money and the last place I want to spend my time is waiting in line

It can be but make sure you are aware of what rides are part of it in each park. It has more value at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios than Animal Kingdom and Epcot so my answer is yes, it is a good deal because the alternative is standby lines all day. Be strategic in when you use them (busier parts of the day on the busier rides) and don't judge it's value by how many tides you actually use it on but the amount of time it saves you on the rides you know you want to do.
Include the cost into the budget but not necessarily as an add-on. Instead, remove or substitute something else in it's place to cover the cost for that.
Also, learn the difference between the Individual Lightning Lanes and Genie+. The rides offered individually are not part of Genie + and will cost extra.

No. You can only use it once per ride per day and even then it’s not always available for certain rides. They’re like blackout times during the day for some rides (more popular rides) so it really sort of defeats the purpose. We went in October and will not be purchasing it ever again in the future. Waste of money.

Don't give money to Disney.

I remember when every family got 3 free fast passes a day, and once you finished using the last one you could try to pick up anything available after that time.
But Disney has become a money grab more and more each year.

The “new” CEO is supposed to make a big announcement on December 8 and some people are speculating it involves changes to the park experience. People miss the Dining Plan and the old Fastpass system, among other things. It probably won’t be a cheaper experience, just different. Go watch YouTube videos by DFBGuide to see more about Genie.

Yes. Alot of people are mad about it because i think you are paying for services you once had included. Idk im not old enough to know that but i do know now it is a must unless you want to wait full time for every single ride you get on.

I heard many of the parks got rid of the "single rider" lines.
While living in florida, we went to Universal themed park, and after 1st couple long waits to ride together, i told my cousin, lets single ride, well be on same car, or tram, etc.
He says no, i said frick it, and went immediately to front, and was on next ride/car/etc that went out. Longest we waited was 5 minutes, while lines were hour+ deep.
I never understood the pact of not riding single, if you can get on asap.
Did they do away with this at disneyworld, and other parks?
