Got divorced over this issue. Couldn’t stop spending money. Maxed out several credit cards that she hid until it was too late. She only stopped when the hole was so deep, there was no alternative.

Good luck.

Not all of them. Ones with peeners and the kind Kanye hate sometimes miss out on this trait.

Just wait until your daughter wants to dance or play volleyball. You will experience pain the likes you never thought financially. Both are like travel ball.....only worse. A "dance" weekend will test your patience and tolerance and financial sanity.

Has nothing to do with gender. There are plenty of thrifty women who try to save money and whose husbands spend it on unnecessary things.

I got one that is different I guess. My wife and I are savers and we are calculated with our spending. She likes to shop but within our budget. Most women will spend you into financial ruin if you let them ,and you need to get ahold of that shite before it is too late. I have seen finances break marriages apart and leave people in bad situations.

Women are materialistic, they love shiny trinkets and trendy things.

Its never going to change.

I'm legit starting to consider taking all her credit cards and debit cards away and go-old school with giving her a weekly allowance like back in the golden days.

Let us know how that goes for you. I imagine lots of “headaches” in the future when you try and get some from her.

Mine did track which wasn't too bad. Our youngest is 16 now though. My big kid expenses now are driving/insurance and in a few years college.

My favorite is when the wife says she needs to run to Target or Old Navy to grab something one of the kids' "needs" for school or activities.

"I'll be in and out."

Returns with 3 bags full of shite

It’s not a trait for any specific sex. I’ve always been a tightwad who hates to spend money and much rather stack it. My ex husband would spend so much money and have nothing to show for it.

I used to work with a woman that would leave work for lunch, drive 30 minutes to her home just to check her mail to intercept the credit card statements so her husband wouldn't see. I found out she had well over $50K in credit card debt. Her husband worked midnight to 1PM so she would legit sprint to her car for lunch and speed off. She did this every single day.

Moron. She could have gone paperless, or just mailed statements to work or po box. Dumb bitch.

My sons all played football through their school....one even made a D1 team at Memphis. So they were comparatively cheap. My daughter got involved with "competitive" dance.
