I try to use the same style pen when I sign documents because it’s easy to see that the signature is actually mine. Pretty common in business practice where you have to sign important documents.

Owning a nice pen and deciding how/when to use it are 2 completely different things.

It’s gay to carry around a Mont Blanc and whip it out in front of others

If owning a G2 pen makes me a snob, so be it

Blue G2 07 stays with me at all times; I don’t sign anything without it.

I also make people who are signing in front of me use pens made for plebs rather than hand my pen to them, mostly for hygiene purposes

Plus, they slip right in between the ol' polo shirt buttons.

How on earth do you stand to write with such a thick line? You might as well be using a goddamned mop to write.

0.5mm or bust.

I have to sign my name a lot on state documents, so I got a nice pen. It’s also a conversation piece.

It’s like any other commodity. If you want it and can afford it, buy it.

I bring a pen to signings.

None of your cooties.

I like the feel and heft of mine. That effects my signature.

Everything nice is pretentious, and everything average is trashy. Pick your fricking poison, or, just please your damn self and screw people.

Loosen your shackles

These might actually be even better than the ball point papermate. The caps are great for tooth picking. That’s huge.

I work in IT and don't even keep a pen in my desk. I often have trouble finding one in my home to sign a check. I take notes in notepad at work and save them to a folder.

I use my fisher pen everyday. I have a habit of leaving my pen in my pockets and ruining my clothes. But not with that pen.

I have a Mont Blanc I got as a gift. It writes nicely and I prefer to use over any other standard pen.

I was meeting with someone last week and when he signed some paperwork, he pulled out a Mont Blanc from his suit pocket rather than use whatever pen was already sitting on the table.

Baller move. I have a Lamy fountain pen that I use everyday at work.
