Yes, your commute is too long. And I say this with experience. I used to live in Baton Rouge and work off Camelia Blvd in Lafayette.
Why did I do this, you ask? Because I am from Baton Rouge and thought living in Lafayette would be a death sentence. I don’t regret not moving to that awful place.
But the fact of the matter is, spending 2 hours a day (assuming little to no traffic) a day, or 10 hours a week, or 40 hours a month, does not equate to a high quality of life.
I went most of my working life never having a commute shorter than 45 minutes. Now I ride on the subway for about 30 minutes, read a book or more often mess around on TD, and I’m home. My ultimate goal is to have a walk under 10 minutes to my office.
I guess my point is, I’ve found there’s a direct correlation between the length of a work commute and quality of life. The longer the commute, the less the quality of life. That’s not an absolute, but it’s definitely been my experience.

My old Dallas commute to the office was a 13.5 mile, twenty minute drive with no traffic. If I left around 6:50 am, and traffic was normal, it took about that long. If I waited until after 7:00 am, and traffic was normal, it took 40 to 50 minutes.
If I left the office by 4:30 pm, it was a 35 minute drive. After 5:00 pm it took 45 minutes to an hour. Any time after 2:00 pm on Fridays, it took an hour. Never drive through Dallas on a Friday afternoon. Rush hour lasts until around 7 pm on Fridays.

We moved from the BR burbs back to the city just because of this. Me and my wife both averaged almost 2 hours commuting per day. Her commute is about 5-10 minutes now. Mine is around 15. Between the 2 of us we have gotten over 3 hours per day of our lives back

My commute is about 90 minutes each way. 30 min drive and 45 min bus ride, plus a little waiting for the bus and walking the last bit to the office. Leave home around 6 am and get back between 7 and 8. 15 hours a week is not ideal, but the price I am willing to pay for a nice house on acreage outside of Seattle. I do catch up on news while I am driving and email while on the bus.

I just finished 12 years going from Baton Rouge to New Orleans. 55 minutes each way most of which spent on the phone with my sales reps or customers. It was work so I didn’t consider it wasting time. It’s very doable not totally ideal but I never wanted or thought about going into the office on weekends because it was five minutes away.

My commute is 50 minutes door to door, but I don't drive. I have to take a subway and a path train.

I drive 1hr 15 min each way. 2.5hrs on the road. My wife and kids are at school and work during the hours I drive. So I’m not missing anything.

I haven't had more than a 5 minute bike ride or 10 minute walk to work in 10 years. I could never go back to commuting from a suburb every day. Just doesn't make sense.

I live about 25 minutes from work and consider the time I spend in the car a waste.
