This is nonsense. It wasn’t a widespread event. It hit like 3 streets. I think they said something like 40 structures destroyed in a parish of 50k residents. These kids have missed too much school already.

Yep, the Biden Administration has argued before the 5th Circuit that the mandate needs to remain because the federal government is calling employees back to offices next month, so people will be even closer to each other.
So basically, COVID has fallen off enough after this last vaccine resistant variant that we can open everything back up, but now, more than ever, we need to vaccinate people.

I have a friend that just got out of the ATL ICU because of Covid. Spent about a month in there, 38 years old.
