Is it weird to anyone else that covid just vanished out of nowhere?

Where is the propaganda? Where are the covid cases? I'm seriously curious. It is quite astonishing.
Has anyone you know gotten covid recently?
I guess Putin's war buried the pandemic.
Thanks Putin... but you're still an A-hole

The media will start pumping Fauci again once necessary, unless they find some other safe-ish crisis to save. Dems are fuked in November right now, and will need some ratings help.

Went out just like it came in

Dems saw it was a losing issue, so they went full in on Ukraine. It's not that hard to see.
If you truly want to get your minutes of madness back, Fauci is still fear mongering.

Doesn't fit the current narrative.

The worst part of the whole thing, is next time there is a deadly pandemic that actually does kill 5% of people, and kids, people aren't going to listen. The 2020 hysteria was a long term frickup. What are they going to say then? "This time, we're serious!"

Hers immunity is real. It would have happened a lot sooner with a similar number of deaths if the government wouldn’t have shut everything down and locked everyone in.

Now is not the time to relax. We must redouble our efforts. Get vaccinated and boosted, wear two masks, do not have human interactions with anyone. Just two more weeks should do it.

It hasn’t vanished. There was just an article I read this morning on the increase in its presence in wastewater in the NYC area.

It's not gone. It is just hiding in a corner until it is needed as justification for some "emergency". There are some big elections coming up this fall. There is some covid sorority (Alpha Kapp Xi, or what have you) ready to make a come back when ballots need to be mailed out.

Not really, but it hasn’t vanished.

No doubt, the Covid overreaction is going to cost millions of lives in a real pandemic.

People just dont care anymore and most are vaccinated. Its just going to be the new cold/flue type virus. We have learned to live with it. It is still there however.

Exactly. We live in a world of ridiculous hyperbole and sensationalism. When EVERYTHING is a "crisis", nothing is a crisis. Exaggeration leads to zero credibility.
Just like when school districts now cancel school for any hint of significant inclement weather. After the 7th or 8th time you do it and the weather turns out to be far less severe than you feared it would be people stop giving you the benefit of the doubt.
