If I'm drinking from a cup that came with a top - like from a fast food drive thru - then I'm fine with a straw. If I'm drinking out of a glass at a restaurant, I don't like straws.

Sucking via straw is a great way to stay hydrated. For me, I tend to drink lots more agua w a straw. I never use straws tho that shitz gay af.

Here in Austin, most places have those enviro-friendly paper straws that disintegrate before you can even finish your drink.. seriously.. so my wife got some metal straws off Amazon that she carries in her purse for us, true story, and while i dont give two shits what’s ‘manly’ or isn’t- NOTHING is manlier than drinking from a goddamn metal straw.

I always thought it was kind of a "Blapipo" thing to absolutely have to have a straw. This is from experience waiting tables. Seems like that population has a higher incidence of germophobes.
