Yep. It’s fricking pathetic.

Its galling to read their rationalizations. They make it seem so casual.

Here's one from reddit.

quote:

You're yearning for something that can never be guaranteed anyway. You can never guarantee you're future husband would be a good parent or that your kids would be better off in life with them.

You can't guarantee even if you were married to a perfect second parent that something won't happen to them.

Everything in life is a gamble. We make choices and hope for the best and often get the worst. That's what makes life exciting and what's makes us human, nothing is guaranteed.

You could have everything your wanting and *still* wake up one day a single parent. Then you are back to square one with a bunch of added grief!

My mother ended up a single parent, not by choice but because my dads an arse lol. Are my experiences different to those I know who had 2 parents? Sure, but those peoples experiences aren't problem free. Their bad experiences are just *different* to mine. Different experiences keeps humanity interesting!

You want to become a mom without someone, we live in a time where that's possible and common! How brilliant is that?! In fact you're already taking steps!!

A stable home is *not* dictated by how many parents live there, it's dictated by the *type* of parent that live there.

Plenty of people I know, myself included, would refer to their father's as sperm donors, because that exactly what they ended up being. The only difference here is your vetting and going through the proper channels to find one!

Try and reframe how you are viewing this. You live in a time where you becoming a mom isn't dictated by an external person, that's exciting in itself! Everything will be on your terms and you don't need to settle on just any man in order to fufill your dreams! You get to become a mum *regardless*!

is it unethical for Ms Rachel to wear her nipple rings with no bra while filming a kid show?

While that is unethical. The women that abort a baby without telling the father or telling him and still doing it against his wishes is straight up evil and these women should be executed.

Period? Ironic poor subordinate clause grammar.

Without telling him or telling him…?

Aborting without the father’s awareness…is low rent mothering! How did fella land this gold mine chick?

I agree that they should know who their dad is, but what if the mother doesn't know.

Hypothetical situation, I do not know anyone personally that this has happened to. But you know damn well this has happened many times.

I didn't know until I was 56 that when I was 16 I got a 20 yr old pregnant. The mom didn't tell the son until he was 30. He waited till he was 40 to search me out through my Dad's FB. The mom moved to another area of Florida

I know someone who had a dude knock her up and then never told the little girl who her dad is.

A girl once made me an offer for sex just to get her pregnant but the twist is that I'd never be in the kid's life nor would I be on the birth certificate. I was extremely suspicious that she'd try to go after me for child support anyway so I never hit it. Well she eventually found a dude willing to take the offer and, amazingly, never went after him for support. I guess women do tell the truth sometimes. My loss.

My brother in law got a call last month from his daughter. She told him a woman contacted her who had done a dna test through one of the sites and the result was she was her sister.

His daughter called him and he does not want any contact with her.

Her mother never told her who her father was.

Why?

Do you think you’ve impregnated a single woman who’s not telling the child who the dad is, OP?

your brother in law is a POS if he avoids a young lady claiming to be his daughter, stepping up to contact him.

Anyway, I think what’s truly immoral is the women who tell somebody who’s not the father that he’s the father, so he ends up paying child support. And sometimes the court will order him to continue paying child support even after he finds out that he’s not the father.
