In the tiny bathroom trash cans, no. Hanging off the lever of your recliner, yes.

Littering is trashy. Using grocery bags is cheap.

I don’t do it, but I also don’t care if someone does.

We were at my in-laws for a Christmas party a couple years ago and one of my wife’s cousins was talking about how he was at someone’s house and he saw that they did that and he thought it was trashy. A few moments after he mentioned that I see my MIL walk toward the bathroom in the hall, when she came out I asked her if she was swapping the bag in there and she was

I always keep a few for the bathroom trash cans or if I need to throw something out but don't want to waste a trash bag.

We use them in the little bathroom cans and for lunch bags when we take leftovers to work.

I mean... what else are you supposed to do with them? They are the perfect size for bathroom trash bags.

I use them for all the little trash cans and in my vehicle . I’ve never bought 4 or 8 gallon trash bags in my life.

Repurposing grocery store bags in any manner is brilliant and environmentally proactive.

Put one in a 5 gallon bucket and it makes a great shitter for the camp. Tie and toss.

It is very improper and unsophisticated to use grocery bags as trash bags. And it is equally improper and unsophisticated to discard grocery bags into trash bags.

I know this because we have a large bottom cabinet in the kitchen that only contains cat food and grocery bags. Hundreds of grocery bags, put in there since their invention . And most of them fall out every time I open the cabinet to feed the cats.
