I just don’t get the infatuation with spending many thousands for something that a $100 version will do just as well.

I can understand the added cost of certain materials like titanium, gold, etc., but I totally don’t get what makes a $10K Swiss watch better than a $500 Swiss watch or even a $300 Japanese watch.

I’m pretty sure it’s because I’m trashy.

Same. Women’s jewelry, purses, or shoes also. Don’t get it.

I won't wear a watch unless it's a $3k Breitling Watch.

What do you like or collect? There has to be something you like that somebody wouldn’t see value in.

I like guns, Bourbons, knives, watches and cars.

Some people think $100 is too much to spend on a watch.

Nah, I’m with you.

I don’t wear jewelry. never have and never will. The only jewelry I wear is my wedding ring and a Fitbit HR monitor for tracking workouts.

I've owned a Rolex for 30 years...the cool thing is it's worth double what I paid for it...

I don't wear it that often but I enjoy it from time to time.

A nice watch is one of the few pieces of jewelry a man can wear and not be trashy...

Some appreciate fine craftsmanship, design, etc. Understanding what goes into making an automatic might change your mind.

I do like the mechanics part.
If I were going to spend a little on a watch, it might be a cool skeleton watch from the 60s.
