what about if your house is haunted and you get scared?

On a serious note, yes. But not in public. Be strong around others who lean on you in times of hardship. Then, when alone you le it out for a few seconds then suck it back up and continue being a man
solid advice

I couldn’t imagine being so insecure as to care what other people think about me crying.
You get over that in your late 20’s. Well at least most people do.

i really don't care what anyone thinks about me crying, just seeing what everyone's thoughts are on the subject.

I cried like a bitch last Monday when I had to put my 13 year old lab down. I still get teary eyed on occasion. Not in front of anyone, though. Only at home and when my wife isn’t around.

I think the "man" who doesn't love his momma just might fail the man test.

I have cried 3x in the last 13 years.
I didn't cry when my mom or grandfather passed.
This isn't bragging, it is an admission that I'm emotionally crippled.
In a lot of ways, I am completely detached. I feel nothing. I lack empathy and nearly every emotion or even facial expression is manufactured.
My advice to the younger guys, don't be afraid to shed a tear.

I’ve been crying a lot over the past few days. My dad has been fighting cancer for years and he starts hospice tomorrow. I think that’s enough reason

I don't know why they say grown men don't cry?

I'll for sure cry when my dogs die......
Dog died 2 years ago. I was definitely strong enough to handle that part without crying, but the wife and especially 2 young boys all crying are what did me in.
